My Golf Coaching Experiences @ McMaster University Athletics

My 30+ years of golf coaching and competition experiences was the framework to insure a great student athlete experience. Providing coaching, guidance, and a competitive environment for your growth and development. 

2022 OUA Men's Team Champions, comprised of the OUA Individual Golf Medalist & Champion Nicolas Dessureault. OUA Bronze Medialist Kavith Ranchagoda, Sam Coons, Patrick Maloney, Matthew Martel, Michael Guyatt, Jack Dool, and Dominic Papalia. The McMaster Men's Team has now qualified for it's 3rd concecutive Canadian University/College National Championships.

McMaster Marauder Men's Golf Team finish T4 at the 2023 Golf Canada University/College National Championships. McMaster Men's Golf best finish in the 20 year history of the championships. Represented by the OUA Championship team, McMaster's Men were led by OUA Individual Champion Nicolas Dessureault and Sam Coons finishing T9 at even par 288 for the championship.

In October 2018, McMaster University Athletics and Golf Program hosted the 2018 OUA Men's and Women's Golf Championships at Heron Point Golf Links comprised of 15 OUA Men's Teams and 10 OUA Women's Teams representing university golf programs from across Ontario. OUA Championships were conducted by Golf Ontario.  The McMaster Men's team competed in the Canadian University/College Golf Championships conducted by Golf Canada in May 2019 & May 2022, finishing 14th as a team in 2019 and 2022. 

The schedule consists of multiple 1 day tournaments hosted by various Ontario universities and multi-day events concluding with the OUA Championships in mid-October. The tournament season lasts for 5-6 weeks from mid- September to October. The national championship is conducted in the following spring semester by Golf Canada.
